Visit to the Regional Museum of Natural History
On September 3, 2022, students of class VII went to the regional museum of natural history. The students were split into two groups before going to the museum, and each group had a guide teacher to assist them understand the exhibits better. The students were given a tour of the various galleries, including the Skeleton Gallery, the Natural History Gallery, the Early Medieval Art Gallery, the Late Medieval Art Gallery, the Gallery of Indian Miniature Paintings, the Gallery of Jewellery, and the Gallery of the Rivers of Madhya Pradesh and the Wilderness in the Dark Jungle
The study of ancient skeletons, weaponry, and artifacts piqued the students' attention. They were enthralled by the old antiques on show and the special look into Indian culture and tradition that each piece and painting provided. Students learned about the Gharial, Crocodile, and Sambar deer and reptile skeletons that the Madhya Pradesh government of Van Vihar National Park presented to the museum.
Overall, the trip provided the students with a singularly instructive experience and gave them a much-needed window into the world of ancient India and its influence on the present.
With enthusiasm and heartfelt gratitude to the Principal and teachers students reached back by 12.15 pm.
