Carmel Convent Sr. Sec. School, BHEL organised activities on 'Source Segregation of waste ',as a part of the campaign in compliance with the mandate for all the cities of MP, in collaboration with the government of India.The 'Health and Wellness Club'of the school motivated the students for a step towards Environment Conservation. The theme of the campaign was, 'Hara Geela Sookha Neela' that inspired the effective waste management. More than hundred students of the Secondary wing participated enthusiastically.The activities conducted included toykathon challenge, making labels spreading awareness and greeen and blue bins for waste disposal; all by using biodegradable waste.The ornated indigenous toys carried our rich culture reminisces.The awareness messages were efficaciously manifested by the labels and bins. The campaign was a grand success due to collusion of zealous students and teacher coordinators.
