Teacher’s Day was celebrated with zeal and zest on September 4, 2023 at KINDERGARTEN today. There was an unusual excitement in the school atmosphere which was quite contagious.

The students of class K.G 1 and K.G.2 took over the duties of the teachers for the day. An afternoon assembly was held by the students in which the students paid tribute to the great teacher Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The Principal, Sr. Ann Joicy addressing the entire school, urged students to maintain the bequest of respecting teachers and lauded the entire staff for their exemplary contribution to the school’s phenomenal success. The principal appreciated the sincerest efforts of the teachers in playing a catalytic role in the holistic development of every student. Addressing the teachers on the occasion, the KINDERGARTEN HEADMISTRESS and Schools Local Manager Sr. Jessy Maria extolled the role of teachers in a student’s life. This special celebration for teachers included dances and speeches to recall the by gone days of teachers as a students.

Thus, the entire celebration paved a new hope for teachers to rejoice the journey as a teacher. The crux of the programme was to make teachers feel special and loved !
