A Beacon of Hope for Sight: 368 Children Screened at Eye Care Camp
In a heartwarming initiative, the social organization "Ham Log Shiksha Evam Samaj Kalyan Samiti" in collaboration with ASG Eye Hospital and Carmel Convent School, organized an eye care camp and seminar on eye protection. The event aimed to promote eye health and safety among children.Renowned ophthalmologist Dr. Ashish Kumar Gangrade from ASG Eye Hospital addressed the students, highlighting the risks of excessive mobile and online gaming on eye health. He provided valuable insights on preventive measures to protect eyesight.
The camp screened 368 children, offering them a comprehensive eye examination and guidance on maintaining healthy vision. The programme was graced by esteemed guests, including Rev.Sr.Ann Joicy, Principal,Carmel bhel ,Sister Alphonso (Vice Principal)Mr. Savio Daniel,(PRO) and social worker Nitesh Nema.
