Carmel Convent School Celebrates Feast Day with enthusiasm
July 26, 2024, was a day dedicated to cultural extravaganza at Carmel Convent School, as the institution celebrated the Feast Day of its Principal, Rev. Sr. Ann Joicy. The atmosphere was electric, with Class 9th 'B' students presenting a soulful prayer service, highlighting the life and philosophy of St. Anne. The prayer meeting was a mesmerizing blend of music, dance, and drama, and was widely appreciated.
The kindergarten students stole the show with their captivating dance performances, while the Hindi medium students enthralled the audience with their energetic moves to popular Bollywood songs. Rev Sr. Joicy thanked everyone and enlightened the gathering about St. Anne who was the grandmother of Jesus. The teachers too showcased their creative talents, presenting a range of cultural programs. The teachers of KG wing performed an enthusiastic Western dance, while those from the secondary presented a festive greeting song. The teachers from the primary wing regaled the audience with film songs improvised to usher in the spirit of the occasion , while the Hindi Medium wing presented a side-splitting drama that left everyone in stitches.
