On 23rd August which is celebrated as Space Day, We had the privilege to visit the regional Science Centre where we were enlightened by Mr Mayank Vahiya ,a retired astrophysicist. In this session he told us about the cause of going to space, is it easy to go to space and about the structure of rockets. We also learned about India’s two navigation systems GAGAN and NAVIC (IRNSS). We got to know about the three orbits, the equatorial, the polar and the inclined orbit. We were also enlightened about India’s Mangalyaan mission, which was launched on September 24, 2014. Our understanding about the Chandrayaan -3, truly made us feel like it’s worth exploring the universe. All this knowledge evoked curiosity in our minds and made this day memorable.
