The Aerobics squad of Carmel participated in the Eurasia Aerobics and Hip Hop Championship held at Dubai from June 9 to June 12.The teams demonstrated fantastic sportsmanship and their display was executed with energy and vibrancy. Despite stiff competition from teams across the world, our Under 19 fitness team comprising 7 members won the silver medal and the Under 19 fitness team with 5 members won the bronze medal .The grandeur of this event was unparalleled and a spectacle to behold. Srishti Sharma's enduring performance bagged her the 3rd position in the individual Under 10 category. The teams clinched a Silver medal in Trio Under -17 category and a silver and a bronze in the fitness trophy as well. Their hard work and determination along with able mentorship of their coach Mrs Seema helped Team India win the 2nd spot in the overall championship . "The superb performance of both the teams has made the city and the school extremely proud. "said the Principal of the School Sr. Joicy who was overwhelmed at the victory and congratulated the teams for their astounding achievement.
